[Opgelost] Psychedelic therapy from Belgium

As a Belgian, you are very welcome at Triptherapie, but it's important to know that psychedelic therapy is still prohibited in Belgium. That’s why we offer several legal and safe options for Belgian clients to experience a psilocybin session or truffle ceremony, on Dutch territory.

What are your options as a Belgian?

1. Travel to the Netherlands for a session
   Nearly half of our clients come from Belgium. Many travel to locations like the Psychedelic Loft in Schiedam for an individual or group session. This location is fully equipped for deep, safe, and comfortable inner journeys, and overnight stay is included.

2. Book a session at an Airbnb just across the border
   You can also rent an Airbnb or hotel in the Dutch part of Limburg or North Brabant — near Maastricht, Roermond, or Eindhoven — and a therapist can come to your location. Here's how that works with sessions on your own location.

3. Join an open truffle ceremony
   You can participate in an open group truffle ceremony with a maximum of 5 other participants. These are often held in Schiedam and include professional guidance, a meal, and overnight accommodation.

4. Start with an intake
   Whether you’re planning a private, duo, or group session, the first step is completing the intake form so we can assess if a psychedelic session is suitable and safe for you.

Many Belgian clients have shared that their doctor or psychologist informally recommended exploring a session in the Netherlands, as alternatives in Belgium are limited. Especially after media coverage involving artists like Selah Sue or the VTM show featuring MDMA therapy with Camille Vanuxem, interest has grown rapidly.

So no, a session at your home in Hasselt isn’t possible, but yes, doing a psychedelic therapy session is absolutely possible if you’re willing to come to the Netherlands.
